Welcome to Alékia!
This is my passion project—one I’ve been building, breaking apart, and rebuilding again for over twenty years. This is where all the obsessions and curiosities of my life collide into one fantasy realm.
Here you will find a geologic history that stretches back millions of years, maps where dynamic tectonics meld with magical surrealism, and environments that, while inspired by real biological theory, sometimes feel entirely alien. You can dive into the astronomy and cosmology of the Alékian universe—planets, moons, and constellations—and stories woven in their honor by the peoples of this world. And creatures—oh boy, are there creatures. I’ve worked as a paleoartist and monster designer for various projects, but Alékia is where my personal brand of speculative evolution runs wild. Of course, there is also magic: realms colliding with other realms, tales of civilizations and heroes rising and falling in their own shadows, and gods beyond mortal comprehension.
This is still very much a work in progress, and it will be for years to come. Someday, I hope to publish it as a setting manual—maybe even a full RPG system of its own. I’ve already run games with friends set in this realm, and I dream of releasing those campaigns as both stories and modules anyone can pick up and enjoy.
